Job Description :

We Are Seeking a Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead Agile software development teams supporting complex, enterprise-level financial and collections-related technology initiatives. This role will coach teams in Scrum and Agile practices, facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, manage dependencies, and promote collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and predictable delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive Scrum Master experience, strong knowledge of scaled Agile methodologies, software development and secure application lifecycles, DevOps practices, and financial services security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

·         Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile software development teams within a complex enterprise technology environment.

·         Coach development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.

·         Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

·         Guide teams in establishing effective Agile practices that improve delivery predictability, transparency, quality, and continuous delivery.

·         Remove impediments and proactively identify and resolve issues that may affect team progress or delivery commitments.

·         Identify, negotiate, and manage dependencies across engineering, QA, product, architecture, compliance, operations, and other cross-functional teams.

·         Protect Agile teams from unnecessary external distractions while maintaining appropriate stakeholder communication and transparency.

·         Coach Product Owners on backlog refinement, story decomposition, estimation, prioritization, and maximizing business value.

·         Support teams in developing realistic delivery forecasts and maintaining visibility into sprint and program-level progress.

·         Apply Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile methodologies within complex enterprise environments.

·         Support Agile delivery across multiple teams or within a large, scaled program environment.

·         Use Azure DevOps and Agile lifecycle management tools to manage backlogs, work items, sprint activities, reporting, and delivery metrics.

·         Support teams working with integration-heavy, API-driven, and data-centric applications and systems.

·         Promote alignment with SDLC, SADLC, and modern DevOps practices.

·         Ensure project teams account for applicable financial security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements , including PCI, FFIEC, CFPB-related requirements, and other applicable financial services security standards.

·         Facilitate technical discussions, backlog elaboration sessions, dependency alignment meetings, and cross-team planning activities.

·         Support quality assurance activities, including regression testing, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment validation.

·         Maintain visibility into risks, impediments, dependencies, delivery timelines, security considerations, and team performance.

·         Prepare and facilitate executive-level reporting, burn-up metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and other Agile delivery reporting.

·         Foster a positive, collaborative, and motivating team environment, particularly during high-pressure or sensitive delivery timelines.

·         Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, process analysis, experimentation, and implementation of actionable improvements.

Required Skills

·         7+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.

·          Proven experience supporting complex, enterprise-level financial or debt management software solutions.

·          Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, or similar frameworks.

·          Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Secure Application Development Life Cycle (SADLC), and modern DevOps practices.

·          Demonstrated ability to guide Agile teams in implementing best practices, continuous improvement, and delivery forecasting.

·          Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

·          Strong ability to remove impediments, negotiate dependencies, and collaborate across engineering, QA, product, architecture, compliance, and operations teams.

·          Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps Agile lifecycle management tools.

·          Proven ability to coach Product Owners in backlog refinement, story decomposition, estimation, and value prioritization.

·          Experience supporting teams working with integration-heavy, API-driven, or data-centric systems.

·          Strong understanding of financial security, privacy, and regulatory requirements applicable to financial services software, including PCI, FFIEC, and CFPB-related requirements.

·          Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

·          Ability to lead multiple Agile teams or operate effectively within a large-scale Agile program environment.

·          Experience working in fast-paced, cloud-first environments, including Azure, AWS, or GCP.

·          Associate's degree or higher.

Preferred Skills

·          SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), ICP-ACC, or equivalent Agile certification.

·          Experience working with debt collection or servicing systems, payment processing workflows, or financial case management platforms.

·          Understanding of user-centered design, accessibility standards, and customer journey mapping.

·          Experience supporting Quality Assurance processes, including regression testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation.

·          Ability to facilitate technical discussions, backlog elaboration sessions, and dependency alignment across multiple Agile teams.

·          Experience contributing to or establishing Agile Centers of Excellence (Agile CoE) or process governance programs.
