Compensation Competitive salary based on experience- $90,000-$95,000. Work Schedule Full-time, onsite role based in Plymouth, MN Monday-Friday-7:00 am to 3:00 pm Occasional local, regional, and national travel may be required Why Placon – You'll Love It Here Lead a skilled maintenance team in a growing manufacturing environment Play a key role in improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime Opportunity to influence maintenance processes, safety initiatives, and operational performance Collaborative culture that values teamwork and employee development Career growth opportunities with a company committed to continuous improvement Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package What You'll Do Lead and supervise Maintenance Technicians and other assigned maintenance personnel Coordinate and direct day-to-day maintenance activities across the Plymouth plant Ensure planned maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Monitor department KPIs, maintenance metrics, and work order performance Drive equipment reliability and machine uptime through preventative and predictive maintenance strategies Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve production performance Develop, implement, and monitor OSHA/ANSI safety procedures and safe work practices Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate maintenance team members Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance effectiveness Serve as a technical resource and leader for maintenance staff Manage multiple priorities while supporting operational goals What You Bring Bachelor's degree in a technical field, engineering, maintenance management, or related discipline and 2+ years of leadership experience; OR 8+ years of maintenance experience with at least 2 years of leadership experience and a proven record of progressive responsibility Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing maintenance, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance systems Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic technologies utilized in manufacturing equipment Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities Ability to effectively prioritize work across multiple departments and competing demands Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout manufacturing and production areas Frequently lift up to 10 lbs. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments Does This Sound Like You?
