This 127-bed Level III Trauma Center stands as the largest hospital on the Southern Oregon Coast, proudly serving a catchment area of over 320,000 residents. The facility features a state-of-the-art Cancer Center affiliated with Oregon Health Sciences University and the OHSU Knight Cancer Network, offering a comprehensive range of oncology services including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, medical oncology, cancer support services, and clinical trials, all supported by a newly built 19-chair infusion room with in-house pharmacy, nurse navigation, and radiation oncology lab.

Opportunity:
Board Certified – NP/PA Oncology

Job Details:

• Full-time, day shift position with four ten-hour shifts; no nights or weekends required
• Paid call shared equally among providers
• Primarily outpatient setting with occasional inpatient consults
• Functions as a member of the clinical patient care team performing tasks and procedures consistent with the training and licensure of an advanced practice provider
• Currently working alongside 1 NP Locum and 2 Oncologists within the facility
• AONCP certification (or in process) required for NP candidates; PA Oncology Subspecialty/Additional Oncology Training highly preferred for PA candidates
• Experience practicing as an Oncology NP/PA in an inpatient and/or outpatient setting highly preferred
• Must hold an active Oregon license or be willing to obtain one
• Board Certified NP or PA required
• Clean malpractice history and background required
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) required at time of presentation
• Proficiency with EPIC software required
• Excellent clinical acumen, interpersonal skills, and team-oriented mindset required
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with referring physicians
• Must demonstrate effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required
• Locum to Perm candidates are welcome to apply
