The primary patient population includes medical, post-surgical, and trauma patients at a Level 3 Trauma Center./ppPrimary skills utilized/learned include IV insertions, blood draws, post-surgical care, telemetry monitoring, time management, critical thinking, and delegating./ppThe personnel an RN will work with include LPNs, patient care nursing assistants (PCNAs), nurse interns, providers, PT/OT, and speech therapy./ppThe unit has 15 beds plus 1 trauma bed as needed./ppAwards or recognitions the unit has received include a staff quote: Everybody loves Parma; its a little slice of Heaven in the MetroHealth world./ppMetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance.
