CDL-A Driver RTS $1,000 Sign-on Bonus

Huntsville Coca-Cola Bottling

Objective:

The Cold Drink Relief Driver's primary function is to deliver fresh, quality Coca-Cola products to vending machines and small businesses. The relief driver will be in training and/or servicing established routes during vacancies.

Accountabilities:

Responsible for checking inventory levels on truck against customer invoices
Responsible for operating a Non-CDL 8 Bay Delivery Truck
Must be able to safely and correctly operate a company vehicle under all types of circumstances, including intercity travel and maneuvering in the close confines of customer facilities
Responsible for collecting money, making change & recording transactions
Ability to resolve customer issues with courtesy and sound customer service skills
Maintain inventory levels and stock a high volume of product in soft drink vending machines
Ability to service multiple customers throughout the day
Subject to working outdoors in the elements (high/low temperatures, rain, sleet, snow etc.)
May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience:

Local delivery experience preferred and/or 6 months of verifiable driving experience
Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED preferred
0-3 years of general work experience
Ability to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50 lbs.; bend over, reach above head height and kneeling
Work with minimal supervision; be a self-starter, team player and have the motivation to learn
Be reliable, honest & trustworthy
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Operate and maneuver a pallet jack with a weight load of approximately 2500 lbs.
Valid driver's license and excellent driving record are required
