Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer

Full-Time Hours available Tuesday-Saturday at Cherry Hill Women's Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center that has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare for over 40 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field. Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for women seeking legal, safe, compassionate abortion care, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care.

Responsibilities include (Experience in one or more preferred):

• Assisting in the examination and treatment of patients by operating ultrasound equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes including gestational sizing, and assistance during procedures
• Cross-train into other roles as appropriate such as Medical Assistant roles throughout The Center performing pre/post procedure vitals, basic lab work, procedure room setup, transporting patients
• Assisting in the education of practitioners in abortion care
• Contributing to various research programs

The ideal candidate must possess:

• Strong communication skills
• Excellent patient care skills
• Up-to-date ultrasonography training and experience
• Basic computer skills (EHR experience a plus!)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Bilingual candidates preferred, but not required. Staff members who speak more than one language interpret for non-English speaking patients and their loved ones throughout their experience
