Mid-Level Diesel Technician – Pensacola, FL Ryder is hiring an experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Pensacola, FL. Responsibilities Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties Perform standard vehicle maintenance Perform standard component inspections and repairs Perform preventive maintenance Diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable Identify root cause of basic failures or conditions and perform repairs as required Replace defective components as instructed Perform facility maintenance duties Interact with customers/drivers to properly determine the nature of complaints once assigned a task Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available Work in accordance with all federal, provincial, and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT) Perform other support duties as required to support operations (e.g., Service Island support) Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug‑free workplace.
