Position Summary Responsible for promoting and selling cutting‑edge integrated systems for fire, security, audiovisual, and data communications applications, guiding clients from consultation through proposal, negotiation, and delivery. What you will do Engage with clients to understand safety, security, and connectivity needs and tailor integrated system solutions. Collaborate with contractors, produce bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with project specifications. Maintain system designs that comply with local, state, federal, and industry standards. Build and sustain long‑term client relationships, driving repeat business and client satisfaction. Prepare detailed sales proposals and presentations, highlighting value propositions. Monitor and analyze sales metrics, forecast goals, and adjust strategies accordingly. Negotiate contracts, secure favorable terms, and protect company interests. Work closely with engineering, project management, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution. Stay current on industry trends and technological advancements in integrated systems. Provide client training on operation and maintenance of installed solutions. Maintain accurate record‑keeping for sales, estimates, and proposals. Enforce safety policies and procedures as required. What you need 3–5 years of contract sales experience in fire alarm, electronic security, or a related field, including prior management experience. Proven sales record with strong prospecting and negotiation skills. In‑depth knowledge of installation and maintenance of fire protection, detection, alarm, security, surveillance, and access systems. Knowledge of applicable state, local, BOCA codes, NFPA 72, ADA, and authorities having jurisdiction in the company’s work geography. Strong record‑keeping, documentation, and communication skills. Background check clearance and reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license. Capability to pass background checks and possess valid driver’s license for company vehicle use.
