The Automotive Technician Automotive Mechanic plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles including passenger cars, light trucks, heavy-duty trucks, and specialty vehicles. Using a variety of diagnostic tools and manual equipment, this technician ensures vehicles operate safely and efficiently with minimal customer interaction. This position does not require travel and offers advancement opportunities toward specialist, lead technician, or training roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics
• Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on multiple vehicle types
• Replace worn or faulty parts accurately and efficiently
• Tune engines to optimize vehicle performance
• Diagnose and repair electrical and brake systems
• Maintain and organize tools and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in automotive repair
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in automotive diagnostics and engine repair
• Knowledge of brake and electrical systems
• Experienced with tool usage and management
• Strong communication skills
• Effective time management abilities
