LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a busy clinical team in the Southern Gulf Coast region. This role requires maintaining a professional demeanor while delivering excellent patient care and fostering positive relationships with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. Key Responsibilities Perform patient triage and rooming efficiently. Record vital signs, allergies, height, weight, and medication history prior to examinations. Assist with patient and family education to support health outcomes. Prepare and administer injections, dress wounds, and remove sutures as needed. Conduct cognitive testing when applicable. Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly in medical records. Schedule precertifications for hospital procedures and manage medication orders, refills, and insurance approvals under physician guidance. Review and act on physician messages, lab results, diagnostic imaging, and electronic prescriptions daily. Process FMLA, disability, and other relevant forms in a timely manner. Provide clinical and administrative support to physicians, medical assistants, and other staff members. Assist with clinical procedures and perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, updating records, coding insurance forms, and handling billing tasks. Education Must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification recognized in the United States. Experience Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in patient care and administrative tasks. Requirements Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and compliance with state regulations is required.
