Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Hour Shifts, Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekend requirement is every 3rd weekend, and holiday coverage for one of the following dates: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day.

The Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit will provide exceptional care in a high-risk environment, managing maternal and neonatal health. This role will involve supporting a diverse patient population and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess maternal and fetal conditions during labor and delivery.
Assist with high-risk deliveries and other critical procedures.
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding labor and delivery processes.
Administer medications and manage IV drips as necessary.
Utilize electronic medical records for patient documentation and care coordination.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
Valid RN License and BSN required.
Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS; AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner required.
