Job Description Position: Physical Therapist (PT) Location: Gainesville, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Days (Rotating Weekends) | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM We are actively seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join a new, state-of-the-art acute care and inpatient rehabilitation hospital opening in Gainesville, FL. Job Summary As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, plan, and deliver personalized rehabilitation programs that help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence following illness, injury, or surgery. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and therapy teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient outcomes across an acute care and inpatient rehab environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patient condition and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions Improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly Educate patients and families on recovery exercises and safety techniques Document all evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal recovery Support mentorship of therapy assistants or students when needed Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida (Required) Vocational School Graduate in Physical Therapy (Required) New graduates encouraged to apply 1+ year experience preferred but not required BLS certification required within 30 days of hire Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay Range: $35 – $49/hr (based on experience) Sign-on bonus: Case-by-case (not guaranteed) Relocation assistance available (case-by-case) Full medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer match Paid time off & paid family leave Tuition assistance & student loan support Career growth in inpatient rehab + acute care setting Modern facility with advanced rehabilitation services #J-18808-Ljbffr Lancesoft INC
