You'll inspect homes before and after guest stays, identify issues that need attention, complete routine repairs, troubleshoot property technology, and make sure concerns are documented and followed through to resolution.You'll also support our Operations Manager with new property onboarding, vendor coordination, and improvements to our field operations. This is an excellent fit for someone who notices the details, takes pride in doing things correctly, enjoys solving practical problems, and can be trusted to work independently while maintaining consistent standards across multiple properties.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed property inspections before and after guest stays to ensure homes meet Misfit Homes' standards for cleanliness, functionality, condition, and guest readinessComplete onboarding inspections for new properties and accurately document property details and outstanding needsCreate clear digital inspection reports with photos, notes, and recommended next stepsIdentify maintenance, cleaning, safety, technology, and property-condition issues and communicate concerns promptlyComplete minor repairs and maintenance work orders, including paint touch-ups, fixture replacements, furniture adjustments, and basic household repairsInstall, test, and troubleshoot smart locks, Wi-Fi systems, thermostats, cameras, televisions, and other property technologyAssist with minor staging, restocking, and routine property care as neededReport larger maintenance concerns and help coordinate qualified outside vendors when necessaryFollow up on reported issues to confirm repairs and corrective work have been completed properlyWork closely with cleaners, maintenance vendors, guest support, and the Operations Manager to keep properties operating smoothlyMaintain accurate records of inspections, completed work, outstanding issues, and property needsHelp improve inspection procedures, maintenance systems, and field workflows as the company growsRepresent Misfit Homes professionally when interacting with guests, owners, vendors, and neighborsRequired Qualifications1+ years previous experience in property management, hospitality, maintenance, facilities, or short-term rentalsLocal to Nashville, TN and comfortable traveling between properties throughout the areaStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify maintenance, cleanliness, technology, and property-condition issuesBasic handyman and maintenance abilities with confidence completing minor household repairsComfortable troubleshooting Wi-Fi, smart locks, thermostats, televisions, and other household technologyStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and prioritiesClear written and verbal communication skills, including accurate digital documentationAbility to work independently, follow established procedures, and make sound decisions in the fieldDependable, proactive, and committed to following tasks and property issues through to completionValid driver's license and reliable transportationAvailability to work a full-time, field-based schedule of Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PMPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with smart-home systems such as Yale, Schlage, Nest, Ring, or similar productsExperience working with or coordinating cleaners, contractors, or maintenance vendorsPrevious leadership, field operations, or property operations experienceCompensation & ScheduleHourly Rate$16–$20 per hourAdditional Compensation$30 per completed maintenance work orderAverage additional earnings: $750–$900 per month ($9,000–$10,800 annually)ScheduleFull-time, field-based positionSunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PMConsistent Friday and Saturday off
