Patient CoordinatorSummary: The Patient Coordinator (Front Office Receptionist) schedules appointments, performs check-in and out duties, assists with checkout duties as needed, and performs administrative duties.At CHOICE Healthcare Services, our mission is to provide everyone access to the healthcare they need. Other duties may be assigned.Collect and process paymentsImports and calls parents when we receive authorizations back in the mailSchedules treatment appointments and recall appointmentsConfirms treatment appointmentsTakes calls throughout the dayProcess No Show ReportsSchedules patients from ASAP ListChecks patients in and outVerifies info on fileVerifies eligibility with insuranceCalls patients when past 10 minsConfirms observation appointmentsSchedules observation appointmentsWorks on daily sign in sheetScans in NPP, and enters it in the systemRegular, predictable attendance is requiredAbility to get along and work effectively with othersQualificationsEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent6+ months of healthcare/dental front office experience is preferredBilingual in Spanish is preferred
