We're partnered with a well-established Florida-based hospitality group on an exciting Chef de Cuisine opportunity in Coral Gables.
The restaurant is part of a Michelin Guide-recognized concept, offering an opportunity to work in a high-quality culinary environment with a strong team and established group behind it.
Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the Chef de Cuisine will play a key role in leading the kitchen team, maintaining culinary standards, and driving consistent execution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead day-to-day kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef
- Manage, mentor and develop the culinary team
- Lead service and maintain a high level of kitchen organization and efficiency
- Assist with menu development and seasonal changes
- Manage ordering, inventory and food cost
- Ensure proper food safety, sanitation and kitchen procedures
- Help drive consistency across all aspects of the culinary operation
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef or similar culinary leadership role
- Strong full-service restaurant experience in a elevated, finer dining restaurant
- Proven ability to lead and develop a culinary team
- High standards for food quality, consistency and execution
- Strong understanding of food cost, ordering and inventory
- Passion for quality-driven, chef-led cuisine
