About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: California state license required Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, CA CRRT state license, Fluoroscopy Permit required Must-Have: - California CLS license must be in hand, no exceptions. - Call required: 3 call shifts in a 2-week period. - Weekend commitment: Call weekends every 6 weeks required. Description: Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. An alternative shift time of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM is also available. This position includes three call shifts in a two-week period. The average daily census is 15 patients with a maximum of 3 active rooms. The candidate must have 3 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting. Candidates must possess necessary certifications and state licenses. Required skills include monitoring, angiography, cardiac catheterizations, and various interventional procedures. The role requires adherence to sterile techniques and regulations. Candidates should be able to manage complex equipment and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Candidates will be working with adult and geriatric populations. Only candidates with valid state licenses will be considered. Flexibility to float to nearby facilities may be required. This position entails weekends and holiday work as per the schedule. References from prior employment are required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be part of the job duties. The work environment requires maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. The candidate must be prepared to handle emergencies and critical situations.
