We are on the lookout for a skilled Advanced Imaging Cardiologist to become part of our expanding program within the Division of Cardiovascular Imaging. This role involves interpreting studies across various modalities.

The Division of Cardiovascular Imaging is a robust, integrated Clinical and Academic program featuring Advanced Imaging Cardiologists dedicated to serving our health system. All modalities related to Cardiovascular Imaging fall under the Cardiology department. Collaborate with state-of-the-art technology and esteemed colleagues to deliver Advanced Diagnostics to the Long Island community.

Salary Range: $350K+

This range is a good faith estimate; actual compensation will depend on various factors such as the candidate's education, training, skills, licensure, certification, competencies, and relevant experience. The stated salary does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other compensation forms, nor does it account for benefits.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsibilities will primarily be clinical, ranging from 80% to 100%, with potential opportunities for research involvement.

Clinical Responsibilities (relevant training considered)

• Conduct and interpret Diagnostic Cardiovascular Imaging Modalities
• Provide intraoperative imaging support for Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Collaborate with the Heart Valve Center, one of the nation's busiest Structural Heart programs, for imaging guidance
• Research opportunities are available for driven individuals

REQUIREMENTS

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Diseases and Echocardiography
• Capability to secure a New York State medical license
• Training in Advanced Echocardiography, CT, Cardiac SPECT/PET, and/or Cardiac MRI
• Strong communication skills
