Job Summary: This role is highly client-facing and offers the opportunity to lead sophisticated tax planning and compliance engagements while mentoring teams and contributing to long-term client growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review complex individual, partnership, S-corporation, trust, and gift tax engagements.
- Serve as a primary advisor to high-net-worth and professional services clients.
- Provide strategic tax planning around compensation structures, K-1 allocations, multi-state issues, and entity structuring.
- Lead multiple client engagements and manage budgets, workflow, and deadlines.
- Mentor, develop, and review the work of staff and seniors.
- Coordinate with attorneys, wealth advisors, and other outside professionals on client matters.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues and planning opportunities.
Skills and Background:
- CPA required
- 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Strong technical expertise in HNW, partnership, trust, and pass-through taxation.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading engagements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with multi-state and multi-entity taxation preferred
