Morgan Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations at The Ridge at Merriam Valley and The Bend, a combined 1,400-unit apartment community in Akron, OH. Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• This position will float between The Ridge at Merriam Valley and The Bend in Akron, OH, with participation in the on-call rotation

What You'll Do:

• Knock out service requests and work orders on time while leaving residents glad they called
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
• Get vacant homes move-in ready through repairs, make-ready work, and a quality check you'd stand behind
• Stay ahead of breakdowns with preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Keep common areas, grounds, and amenities safe, clean, and looking sharp

What We're Looking For:

• At least one year of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, drywall, and general maintenance
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance required
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation and travel between both Akron communities as needed
• Someone who does what they say they'll do and treats every resident and teammate with respect
