Senior Manager, QC Analytical Development

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Analytical Development Laboratory at its Greenville facility. This role combines technical expertise in pharmaceutical quality control with strategic oversight of staff, budgets, and regulatory compliance across sterile injectable and oral solid dose product development.

Responsibilities

Lead Analytical Development Laboratory staff and operations while driving organizational change and team engagement
Direct chemical analytical development and method transfer activities for new business development projects
Assess regulatory responses, advise manufacturing leadership on analytical chemistry, and review submissions
Develop and monitor capital equipment and operating budgets with short- and long-range planning
Maintain safety compliance, data integrity, and adherence to cGMP standards across laboratory operations

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
10+ years cGMP experience in pharmaceutical industry with steriles manufacturing background
7+ years in a leadership role with demonstrated employee engagement and development
Knowledge of quality control statistics, microbial test methods, and data integrity standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong written and verbal communication skills
Superior organizational and attention to detail with ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
