VCA South Shore Weymouth Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Overnight ER/ICU Veterinary Technician to join our thriving, collaborative team. We are a busy 24-hour emergency, referral, multi-specialty, and general practice hospital , and we’re looking for technicians who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are passionate about patient care. Compensation Highlights $20 - $30 per hour based on skill set, experience, and licensure status. Generous overnight differential (11pm – 7am: $4.75/hr) Additional weekend differential (7pm Fri – 7am Mon: $6.25/hr) Evening differential (ICU 3pm – 11pm: $2/hr) Pay based on experience and skill Why You’ll Love Working Overnight at VCA South Shore We strongly believe in training, development, and full utilization of technician skills. ER/ICU Veterinary Technician Responsibilities Procedural anesthesia monitoring. Full technician skill utilization in ER/ICU cases. Collecting thorough patient histories and performing physical exams. Venipuncture and IV catheter placement. Hands‑free radiology (associate safety is a top priority). Collaborating with doctors and technicians across all hospital services.
