About the Position
We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our client's team in Illinois for a 60-day assignment. This Physician will provide outpatient clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients undergoing radiation therapy, conducting new patient consultations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluate and manage patients undergoing radiation therapy in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct new patient consultations, including review of medical history, imaging, and pathology.
- Develop and oversee radiation treatment plans in collaboration with medical physicists and dosimetry teams.
- Provide follow-up care and survivorship planning for patients post-treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical oncology, surgery, and support staff.
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- The EMR system utilized is Epic.
- This is an outpatient-only setting.
