Job Description:

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years NICU experience

- RN licensure: GA or Compact license required at time of submission

- Certifications: BLS, NRP

Key clinical skills:

- Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP)

- Umbilical line (UVC) and central line care / arterial line management

- IV therapies and line maintenance

- Neonatal feeding (bottle, breast, gavage)

- Care for NAS (neonatal abstinence syndrome) and preterm neonates

- Experience in NICU III settings

Compliance / Notes:

- Weekends: Every other weekend

- Floating: Yes — within facility and scope of practice as needed

- RTO (request time off): Max 7 days per contract; RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO during orientation week

- Orientation: 12 hours (additional non-billable orientation hours may vary)

- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment — expected to work it; if 2 — expected to work both; if 3 — expected to work two of the holidays

- Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day

- Full compliance required to start on time; incomplete compliance may delay start

- Required documents due by the Tuesday prior to start
