Phoenix Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team. We provide services to long-term care facilities and play an important role in making sure our patients receive the right medications, in the right packaging, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and packaging unit-dose and multidose medications for LTC facilities
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and monitoring medications and supplies
- Maintain and update patient medication files including medication changes, new orders, refills, discontinued medications, and other facility requests
- Communicate professionally with facility staff, patients and caregivers when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production area
- Follow all pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and LTC best practices
Qualifications
- Currently licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
- 3+ years of recent pharmacy experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with wholesaler purchasing and familiarity with wholesaler contracts (preferred)
- Experience with PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC or a similar system (desired but not required)
