Specimen Processor ILabCorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join their team in Meridian, MS. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00pm-1:00am with weekend rotation.Job Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:1 or more years relative experience (lab/accessioning, production/manufacturing/warehouse environment)1 or more years of medical or production experienceAdditional Job Standards:Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAbility to lift up to 40lbs.Ability to pass a standardized color blind testAre you organized, accountable, and have always gone the extra mile to make sure things are done right?
