Hotel Maintenance Engineer - $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

HSS is looking for flexible and reliable Hotel General Maintenance to service our luxury hotels in the area.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $19-$22ph . This range represents the minimum and maximum pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of posting.

Requirements:

• Must have the legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Should have at least 1 year of hotel maintenance experience.
• Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
• Willing to do heavy lifting.

As Maintenance Engineer you will be working closely with the superintend to ensure our customer needs and supervise janitorial operations are taking care.

Description/Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing preventive maintenance.
• Handling Air conditioner repairs and maintenance.
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Providing training (onboarding) in custodial cleaning practices.
• Electricity/Changes Bulbs
• Painter
• Ensuring proper chemical usage
• Ensuring proper usage and maintenance of custodial equipment
• Conducting weekly safety trainings
• Monitoring quality of work produced
• Adjusting daily assignments based on staffing
• Issuing access cards
• Performing workspace inspections

Requirements:

• Maintenance experience required
• Over 1 year of experience in electricity, HVAC, plumbing and painting required.
• Basic computer skills
• Open Availability
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
• Proven maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Related degree from a technical college.
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
