Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a valuable role supporting students’ well-being during Extended School Year (ESY) programming. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to provide onsite services for a short-term contract assignment running from mid-June through mid-July. This opportunity covers two locations, providing support to a caseload of 12 students, ensuring their social and emotional needs are met throughout the ESY session.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid PA School Social Worker Certificate required
• Experience in a school-based or educational setting preferred
• Ability to support students with diverse backgrounds and needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Organized, adaptable, and able to multi-task across multiple sites if needed
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services and support to a caseload of 12 students at onsite locations
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to assess and address student needs
• Participate in inservice training on Thursday, June 18, 2026
• Support an inclusive, safe environment on all scheduled school days (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–12 PM)
• Maintain documentation and communication as required by school and district policies
• Foster a positive rapport with students to enhance engagement and overall well-being
