Senior Manager Field Sales
As Senior Manager Field Sales you will take end-to-end responsibility for your sales territory and shape its success independently and sustainably. You will shape the existing sales strategy with entrepreneurial vision and your personal touch, build a reliable pipeline, and actively drive new customer acquisition. The focus of the role is on active market processing and sustainable growth. You will work predominantly with pre-qualified leads, but also bring in your own acquisition impulses and use market, competition, and customer information strategically to exploit the full potential of your area. You will receive freedom in implementation as well as comprehensive support to achieve your goals successfully.
Your tasks:
- You will manage your sales territory with entrepreneurial responsibility and take charge of pipeline management, forecasting, and goal tracking.
- You will create and consistently implement annual plans for the field sales area with foresight.
- You will develop an individual sales strategy based on customer profiles, market and competitive situation, as well as our product portfolio and values.
- You will actively drive business development by further developing pre-qualified leads and implementing targeted acquisition initiatives.
- You will be responsible for customer outreach and relationship management and develop these strategically.
- You will manage personal customer appointments, product demonstrations, proposals, tenders, and contract negotiations confidently.
- In close collaboration with pre-sales, delivery, and product teams, you will ensure technically sound, tailored solutions and realistic budgeting.
- You will ensure uniform sales processes and standards and continuously develop them.
- You will monitor performance indicators, adjust measures accordingly, and achieve sustainable sales targets.
- You will regularly communicate with senior leadership and actively contribute improvement suggestions for processes, tools, and sales models.
Your profile:
- You have at least three years of professional experience in field sales, in solution-oriented B2B sales, or in a comparable commercial role.
- Experience in the ERP environment and a good understanding of the requirements of medium-sized companies in the manufacturing sector are excellent.
- You have very good German language skills and use fluent English in presentations and in daily communication.
- You are familiar with common office applications; experience with Salesforce is desirable but not mandatory.
- A specific education or degree is not decisive for us – what is important are your experience, your attitude, and your sales impact.
- You think strategically, act empathetically, and have a good sense for people, organizational structures, and decision-making processes.
- You can read between the lines, correctly classify customers, and flexibly adapt your approach accordingly.
- You feel comfortable in complex, long-term sales cycles and bring the necessary perseverance, structure, and self-motivation to consistently further develop opportunities over a longer period.
