Create tailored treatment plans: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy approaches to help them meet their personal goals

Implement evidence-based practices: Apply proven methods to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive skills, and everyday activities

Collaborate with colleagues: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical staff, and nurses to provide holistic and comprehensive care

Educate patients and families: Share therapy strategies with patients and their loved ones, fostering progress beyond the clinic

Evaluate and document progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and modify plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track

A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution

Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
