• Develop, implement, and assess individualized care plans for each patient.
• Supervise the care provided by nursing and other staff on the assigned unit/shift.
• Communicate and collaborate with various departments to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient care and any changes in their condition, taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Assume the role of Charge Nurse when required and as assigned.
• Educate patients and caregivers on tests, procedures, treatments, and medications in clear terms.
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences, representing the nursing department and sharing observations.
• Implement emergency responses to crises in the absence of senior management.
• Provide at least two in-service training sessions annually.
• Engage in identifying and addressing training needs for nursing development.

• Valid RN licensure as mandated by state regulations.
• Current RN licensure appropriate to state requirements.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN® certification is required.
• Preferred: Two years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Preferred: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation.
