Job Description
- Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Understand individual patient needs and create specialized therapy strategies that help them accomplish their functional objectives
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to promote enhancements in patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
- Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in close collaboration with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide thorough and holistic patient care
- Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy techniques that can be practiced at home for sustained improvement
- Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, documenting developments and altering treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on their path to success
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- Continuing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their maximum level of independence
- Strong, clear communication skills that resonate with both clients and team members
