Job Details We’re hiring an experienced trial attorney to handle insurance defense matters across Utah. This is a work-from-home role with in-person court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed. No billable hours, real work–life balance, and a strong benefits package. Salary Salary: $145,000 - $220,000 per year What You’ll Do Manage moderate to high-exposure insurance defense cases from intake through resolution Serve as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs Build case strategies and prepare matters for trial or settlement Analyze legal precedent and evaluate case risk Partner with Claims leadership to provide legal guidance on personal injury matters Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards Mentor and guide supporting attorneys as part of case development What We’re Looking For 7+ years of litigation experience Insurance defense, personal injury, and jury trial experience required First- and second-chair trial experience strongly preferred Multistate practice experience is a plus Active law license in applicable states (Utah required) Strong courtroom presence and public speaking skills Comfortable handling high-volume, adversarial litigation Excellent writing, communication, and leadership abilities Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a virtual, paperless environment Why You’ll Love It Remote role with required in-person appearances No billable hour requirement Bonus potential up to 20% of base salary Generous 401(k), auto allowance, PTO Medical, dental, vision, and paid parental leave Supportive team and real autonomy Interested in hearing more?
