Do you have a passion for grooming and a soft spot for four-legged clients? Are you someone who loves taking a shaggy pup and turning them into a fresh, fluffy, happy version of themselves?

As a *Pet Groomer*, you’ll do more than create beautiful grooms—you’ll help pets feel comfortable, confident, and cared for from the moment they arrive until they head home looking and feeling their best.

This is a rewarding role where your talent, creativity, and love for animals make a difference every single day. You’ll build relationships with pets and their parents, create repeat clients, and become an important part of their pet’s regular care routine.

What You’ll Do

* Create breed-specific haircuts, beautiful styles, baths, and finishing touches with skill and care
* Meet with pet parents to understand their grooming requests and make sure every pup gets the look they want
* Review grooming notes and assess each pet before getting started
* Take before-and-after photos and keep detailed grooming notes in each pet’s profile
* Keep your grooming area clean, organized, sanitized, and ready for the next furry client
* Monitor pets throughout the grooming process and speak up if you notice signs of stress, illness, or injury
* Work with the front desk team to coordinate scheduling, pricing, and check-in/check-out details
* Keep your tools, equipment, and grooming supplies clean, safe, and ready to go
* Help grow the grooming business by providing exceptional experiences, recommending appropriate add-on services, and encouraging recurring appointments
* Work with other departments to make sure pets are beautifully groomed and ready for their scheduled pickup
* Occasionally provide complimentary baths or services to help create an exceptional guest experience
* Jump in and support your teammates when needed

What We’re Looking For

* *A talented groomer:* You’re confident with breed-specific grooming, scissor work, styling, and safe animal handling.
* *A pet person:* You’re patient, calm, compassionate, and comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and personalities.
* *A people person:* You can communicate clearly and professionally with pet parents while making them feel confident in your care.
* *Detail-oriented:* You take pride in your work and notice the little things that turn a good groom into a great one.
* *Independent & dependable:* You can manage your appointments while staying organized in a busy environment.
* *Safety-minded:* You understand proper sanitation, grooming safety, and basic signs of pet health concerns.
* *Ready to stay active:* You can stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and safely handle dogs up to 100+ lbs on leash.
* *Flexible:* You’re comfortable working weekends, holidays, and during busy peak seasons.
