Cashier/Server - Part-Time
Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. As a cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our members. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest's needs are met with attention to detail and care. Your commitment to excellence in service, along with your positive attitude and professionalism, will help ensure that every dining experience is memorable.
Army Navy Country Club is seeking seasonal cashiers in our Stars and Stripes restaurant. Cashiers must be able to take orders and carry trays to deliver food to the member once a food order has been prepared by the kitchen. Cashiers' additional responsibilities consist of taking and filling drink orders; keeping the dining room and outside patio clean and tidy; and taking orders as well as running food to tables.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver food orders to our members and guests accurately
- Taking accurate orders from the members at the counter
- Double check order to ensure quality and correctness
- Communicate with server orders that are ready to be served
- Follow up with additional member requests and issues
- Making soft drinks and smoothies
- Keeping the dining room and outside patio clean
Qualification Standards:
Education: Some High School required Must have basic communication skills.
Must be 16 years old or older
Experience: No experience required.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time. Must be comfortable with working outdoors and in extreme weather conditions
General availability: Monday-Friday 10am-8pm Saturday-Sunday 9am-8pm
