Part Time - Dental Assistant

Role: The Dental Assistant I provides supportive dental procedures under supervision, including radiograph handling, infection control, and patient preparation. Responsibilities: Sterilize instruments, expose and assess radiographs, assist with dental treatments, manage patient records, schedule appointments, and ensure a safe, organized clinical environment. Administrative Duties: Record treatment info, maintain confidentiality, answer patient inquiries, and participate in team meetings and training. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, current CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of customer service experience. Skills & Abilities: Attention to detail, effective time management, professional communication, and ability to work with diverse patient populations including LGBTQ+ and HIV+ individuals. Additional: Ability to use office equipment, sit for extended periods, and perform duties requiring active listening and computer skills.
