Pharmacist
Join our team as a Licensed Pharmacist and play a key role in delivering safe, accurate, and patient-focused pharmacy services. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, drug interactions, and proper storage
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Prepare and compound medications, including sterile products, following established protocols
- Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug-related issues
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Oversee pharmacy inventory and ensure adequate medication supplies
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy support staff
- Promote patient wellness through education and preventive health services
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the applicable state
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, medication management, and patient counseling
- Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills
