A rewarding opportunity awaits for a licensed pharmacist to contribute to a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital setting. This position, available on a contract basis, offers an engaging environment where clinical expertise directly impacts patient care. The assignment is based in the Boise, ID area with an ASAP start and extends for at least 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff and physicians to optimize medication therapy.
• Engage in pharmacokinetic monitoring and consultations.
• Utilize Cerner for medication management and documentation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Idaho, or the ability to obtain one promptly.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred, especially in acute or rehabilitation care settings.
• Strong knowledge of medication management systems and clinical protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts.
