CNA / GNA Float - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The CNA / GNA Float position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care across multiple units. Staff members must assist in daily living activities and possess strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively support both the clinical team and the patients. The facility requires flexibility to adapt to various departments, catering to patients with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition.
• Participate in setting up and assisting with various invasive procedures.
• Provide support to licensed professionals during procedures.
• Engage patients in both group and individualized rehabilitation activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Utilize a Hoyer lift and wheelchairs to assist with patient mobility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA or GNA required; first-time travelers will be considered.
• Must possess active Maryland CNA license or Compact license.
• Required certifications: BLS, AHA CPR.
• Experience with phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection preferred.
