About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP of Supply Chain to lead the operational execution and scaling of its nationwide network. The successful candidate will be responsible for both day-to-day operational performance and the strategic design and expansion of the national network. This role demands a leader who can ensure operational excellence, maintain industry-leading delivery rates and customer satisfaction scores, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The SVP will work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly in product and engineering, to translate product strategy into operational reality and will be instrumental in the company's rapid market expansion. Key responsibilities for the SVP of Supply Chain include strategic planning, performance management, network optimization, and design, as well as driving major operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' of progressive operations leadership experience, with a proven track record of scaling operations in a high-growth environment. Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or related industries with a complex physical supply chain is essential. The role requires a leader who is adept at both scaling and efficiency modes, and who can bring structure to ambiguity. A background in marketplace, gig economy, or crowdsourced workforce models is preferred. The SVP will be expected to build a high-performing operations leadership team, establish scalable systems, and ensure that the supply chain is a strategic partner to the product and engineering teams.
