Entry Level Program Finance Analyst (PFA) – Huntsville, AL Leidos is seeking a skilled finance professional to join its Program Finance Analyst team. The analyst will provide financial analysis, forecasting, and performance management across multiple business segments, and support the Program Management Team and external customers. Responsibilities Program financial control and external customer service - walk through invoice, explain deliverables, resolve issues. Funding management (contract, subcontracts, net open commitments). Program start-up and maintenance – ensure project setup process is executed correctly. Develop, track and update program baseline; manage program EAC; analyze contract actuals for accuracy. Communicate issues to Program Management to prevent future errors. Responsible for program financial customer deliverables (CDRLs) and manage SPAs when necessary. Support financial presentation for program or operational reviews. Proposal support – pricing for proposals above TCPD threshold and below current TCPD threshold. Internal corporate financial control – contract closeout, development of Financial EAC and required artifacts, quarterly EAC review meetings. Financial forecasting of awards, revenue, operating income; develop annual operating plan. Accountable for program financial forecasting (monthly continuous and quarterly current forecast); manage financial risk and opportunity. Variance analysis and reporting of actual program financial performance against AOP and rolling six‑quarter forecast. Accountable for program billing, cash collection, analysis, and clearing of unbilled receivables. Ownership of monthly closing process: validate awards/bookings, backlog, revenue, and operating income for each program. Support internal and external audits. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with less than two years of experience; graduates scheduled to complete in May 2025 also eligible. Interest in Finance & Business Operations and ability to work within a government services environment. Energetic, enthusiastic, team‑oriented and initiative‑driven. Excellent interpersonal, customer‑service and communication skills. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Experience performing accounting, finance, or economics‑related financial data analysis. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Quick comprehension of processes, systems, and tools. Data mining and analysis skills, including presentation of findings to management. Professional conduct and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills while managing multiple priorities. United States citizenship required. Pay Range $50,050.00 – $90,475.00. This range is a general guideline and does not guarantee compensation.
