Registered Nurse (RN) - PACUWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role involves caring for post-operative adult patients in a fast-paced environment. The PACU handles a high volume and acuity of patients, and teamwork, positive attitudes, and clear communication are essential standards on the unit.Key ResponsibilitiesRecover post-operative adult patients by monitoring their progress and vital signs.Administer medications and provide post-anesthesia care as required.Collaborate with medical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding recovery processes and expectations.Work independently while contributing to team efforts in a dynamic nursing environment.QualificationsRN License: Must possess a valid New York State RN License.Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience is required; PACU experience is mandatory, and ICU experience is preferred.Certifications: Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.Behavioral CharacteristicsSuccessful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
