It is classified as a Trauma Level III facility. The organization serves as a teaching hospital. It has received recognition as a Chest Pain Center and a Stroke Center of Excellence. Additionally, it is a Bariatric Center of Excellence. The department averages a specific number of patients per day, which will be discussed during the interview process. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Patient types and common diagnoses will also be covered during the interview. Areas served include emergency departments, inpatient units, and outpatient services. Required certifications include ARRT-CT, BLS, and a photo ID collected during the compliance process. NC State Licensure is not required. Skills required will be discussed during the interview process. Support within the department includes radiology nursing and transport staff. Technology and equipment utilized include EMR systems, specifically EPIC, as well as Siemens and GE equipment. There is no floating between units. Scheduling details, including weekend rotations, will be discussed during the interview process. Holiday expectations require that travelers work 75% of holidays. Requests for time off must receive manager approval. Shift times will vary based on requisition. The scheduling cycle occurs every 4 weeks. Department culture emphasizes high volume settings with team accountability for patient-centered care.
