POSITION: INTERVENTION SPECIALIST (Moderate to Intensive) Effective 2026-27 School Year LOCATION: JOHN F. KENNEDY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking applicants with Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist teaching license. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (Partial List) Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation. Knowledgeable about co‑teaching, universal education and co‑treating strategies. Participates in school‑wide professional development programs and activities. Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly. Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards. Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and on‑going data/progress monitoring. QUALIFICATIONS (Partial List) Valid Ohio teaching license. Must pass criminal background checks and pre‑employment drug screening. Collaboration and problem‑solving skills. Educational technology skills.
