This is a Temp-to-Direct Hire opportunity with excellent potential for someone looking to build a long-term career in aerospace quality.Pay: $23.00-$24.00/hr DOE Location: Chatsworth, CAThis is a developmental quality position designed for someone with 1-2 years of inspection, manufacturing, warehouse, or mechanical experience who wants to develop their skills in aerospace inspection and quality control. You will receive training and hands-on experience with blueprint reading, precision measurement, inspection documentation, and aerospace quality standards. Working under the guidance of experienced quality professionals, you will learn how to verify incoming materials and hardware meet purchase order, drawing, and specification requirements.What You'll DoInspect incoming aerospace parts, materials, and hardware for visual and dimensional requirementsVerify purchase orders against received materialsReview Certificates of Conformance (COCs), material certifications, and test reportsPerform measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gaugesCompare inspection results to engineering drawings and specificationsLearn and apply basic blueprint reading and GD&TDocument inspection results accurately in ERP systems and inspection recordsMaintain accurate quality documentation and product traceabilityIdentify and properly label nonconforming materialEscalate discrepancies or questions to senior quality personnelMaintain an organized inspection area and follow all safety and quality proceduresWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience in inspection, manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical, or a related environmentStrong mechanical aptitudeBasic understanding of measurement tools and techniquesComfortable using computers for data entry and documentationStrong attention to detailAbility to follow written procedures and instructionsDependable, organized, and willing to learnGood communication skills and comfortable asking questions when clarification is neededAerospace experience is a plus, but not requiredQuality control certification or technical coursework is preferredThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into aerospace quality or take the next step in their inspection career.
