Regional Cybersecurity Lead

What You’ll Do

Relate Search has partnered with a well-established global manufacturing organization to identify a Regional Cybersecurity Lead for its Americas operations. This individual will play a key role in strengthening the company's cybersecurity posture by driving governance, compliance, and security standardization across its regional subsidiaries. Reporting to the Corporate IT Director, this position will work closely with subsidiary IT leaders and Network & Security teams to implement enterprise security strategies, manage risk, and ensure consistent adoption of corporate standards. This is an opportunity to influence cybersecurity strategy across a multi-site organization while partnering with teams to protect critical business systems, infrastructure, and data.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional cybersecurity governance, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, security frameworks, and regulatory requirements across the Americas.
• Coordinate security assessments, audits, vulnerability management, risk mitigation, and incident response activities to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.
• Drive standardization and implementation of enterprise security solutions, including endpoint protection, identity and access management, network security, email security, and security monitoring.
• Partner with subsidiary IT leaders and infrastructure teams to lead regional security initiatives, provide technical guidance, and support infrastructure, cloud, and digital transformation projects.
• Monitor cybersecurity performance, communicate regional risk and compliance status to leadership, and recommend improvements to security processes, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT infrastructure, including on-premises and private/public cloud environments; multi-site or regional experience preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of network security, firewalls, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), Microsoft 365 security, Azure/AWS cloud security, vulnerability management, and SIEM platforms.
• Experience implementing or managing cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls, with a track record of improving security compliance and risk management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence teams across multiple locations and translate cybersecurity requirements into practical business solutions.
