Job Position: Forklift Operator

Location: Abbeville, SC 29620

Pay Rate: $14.84/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift/ 3rd Shift

Description: Must be able to deal with fiberglass; experience is a PLUS

Operates powered lift truck to supply and remove materials to maintain workflow and housekeeping. Essential Functions: Operates lift truck and performs duties to keep machine operators supplied with materials and moves finished goods to warehouse hold area. Weighs and records scrap. Performs clean-up duties to provide good housekeeping. Assures that lift trucks are in good working order. Reports defects and wear. Combines and consolidates raw materials and bank items to reduce the amount of WIP on hand. Requires some minimal lifting of raw materials and bank items. Completes daily "squawk" sheet. Secondary Duties: Assists wire respooler with mixing solvents and filling of solvent tank. This is a manual operation for safety reasons.
