Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and care of surgical patients, ensuring compliance with surgical protocols.
• Scrub and assist during a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures, including CABG and valve replacements.
• Maintain sterile environments and utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
• Coordinate and manage equipment needs and track surgical instruments used during procedures.
• Participate in call requirements, providing support 1-2 nights per week and on designated weekends.
• Float to general OR as needed to accommodate operational demands.

Qualifications

• 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required with proficiency in complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in Level 1 and 2 Trauma highly preferred.
• Proficiency and experience in using the Da Vinci Surgical System is highly preferred.
• Not suitable for first-time travelers; previous travel experience is required.
• NBSTSA Certification and ACLS preferred; proficiency in Epic charting system needed.
