We aim to build a culture of 'care' that is patient focused and performance driven.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ascertain insurance information from patients prior to serviceContact insurance company, as needed, to verify patient coverageObtain authorization for procedures and services, as required.Qualification Requirements:Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-taskGood communication and telephone skillsGood computer skills; must be able to type 45 wpmKnowledge of medical insurance/authorization processEducation And/Or Experience:High school graduate or equivalentPrevious experience in obtaining insurance authorizationsConfidential And Sensitive Information:Must properly control the release of proprietary and confidential information.GenesisCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
