Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, US. Start date 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,541–$1,614 per week with guaranteed hours of 36. Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts (12x3 rotation). Work setting: hospital-based medical/surgical unit with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients across multiple Med Surg specialties, including urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, general surgery, trauma, ENT vascular.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, start IV therapies, manage drains and wound care, and perform routine assessments.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans; communicate changes during handoffs and with physicians.
- Document care precisely in the electronic medical record (EPIC), ensuring accuracy and timely updates to charts and plans.
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and turns/ambulation plans; educate patients and families as appropriate.
- Adhere to unit protocols and hospital policies; respond to urgent changes in patient condition and escalate as needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (Georgia) or eligibility to practice per state requirements; Nursys license verification required.
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience in a hospital setting.
- EPIC EMR experience is required.
- No recent time off requests (no RTO) during the assignment period.
- Ability to work night shifts and meet the demands of a high-acuity Med Surg unit.
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program (RN).
- Candidate profile must include: work history/resume with gaps no greater than 60 days, skills checklist, references, nursing certification card, and Nursys license verification.
