Position Overview

EGM Automotive is a family-owned repair shop in Elk Grove Village, IL. We are a growing shop with a strong reputation for quality work, structured processes, and a team environment that supports experienced technicians. We have Techs that have been onboard for over 10+ years! This is proof we have the right culture and structure in place.

We service approximately 350 to 400 vehicles per month and continue to grow, providing steady workflow for skilled technicians. Our Techs are never standing around with no cars to work on and we are usually booked out a week or more.

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician who is confident in auto and light truck repairs on Domestic, Asian and some Euro vehicles. Experienced on electrical and diagnostics is a plus but not necessary, offer quality repairs and working in a structured shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair a wide range of vehicle systems
• Perform accurate, high-quality mechanical repairs
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and technicians
• Follow established shop processes and workflow systems
• Ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time

Requirements

• 5+ years of automotive repair experience preferred
• A or B level technician experience is preferred
• Team-oriented and dependable work style
• Ability to work within structured processes
• Valid Drivers License
• Focus on quality and efficiency
